The Maths Makes Sense (MMS) Curriculum

The Maths Makes Sense (MMS) Curriculum is used throughout the school to teach Mathematics on a daily basis.
There are five mathematic lessons each week;
- two arithmetic (number) lessons 

- one geometry (shape and space) lesson  
- one data and measures lesson
- one reasoning lesson

The MMS Curriculum has been modified to meet the requirements of the Primary National Mathematics Curriculum 2014 and the needs of our children.

Mental arithmetic or purposeful practice are a daily activity. Number bonds and tables are taught using a phased approach.
